Would Belichick ever consider return to Giants?

Bill Belichick has played a significant role in building one of the model sports organizations.

But it was with the Giants he first won two Super Bowls as a defensive coordinator.

So would Belichick actually consider taking a head coaching gig with the Giants?

“I just remember in ‘A Football Life’ with Belichick, he cried at the old Meadowlands stadium. Now, this is one guy that I didn’t think was capable of getting a tear,” said Tanguay. “I’m not saying it’s gonna happen this year or next year. But I would not be surprised when this is done in New England, Brady’s done in one or two years, and if the Giants want him I would not be surprised.”

Anything like that is unlikely to happen as long as Tom Brady is quarterback of the Patriots.

But if he does someday decide to step down as head coach, it doesn’t seem to be unreasonable for him to take on a role strictly as a general manager or an advisor.
