The New England Revolution re-signed two second-year players Wednesday: forwardmidfielder Zak Boggs and goalkeeper Tim Murray. Terms of the deals were not released.

Boggs, 24, made nine appearances, including four starts, in his rookie season. He scored two goals, both coming in his first-career start on at Columbus. He missed the final 17 matches of the season after suffering a concussion in late June.

Murray, 23, finished last season as the teams second-string goalkeeper. He played for four years at Providence College.

Were pleased that both Zak and Tim are returning this year, Revolution Vice President of Player Personnel Michael Burns said in a release. Both are promising young players who have worked hard during preseason to earn spots on the team.
