Revs eye revenge against D.C. United

After back-to-back home games, the New England Revolution hit the road on Saturday night, as they travel to RFK Stadium to take on D.C. United.

United have already handed the Revolution a loss this season. In fact, the Revs' 2-1 loss on April 14 at Gillette Stadium marks the only home loss of the season for New England.

The Revs enter Saturday's rematch as the sixth-place team in the Eastern Conference with 13 points and a 4-6-1 record. They're only 1-5 on the road this season, which isn't a good thing against a D.C. United club that enters Saturday's match with a 5-1-2 record at home.

"If you can get points on the road, its great, said Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis. Were going to have to play a perfect game to get those points. I think were definitely capable of it. Weve shown the past couple weeks that were playing good soccer."

The United enter the game as the second-place team in the East with 24 points, just two points behind the conference-leading New York Red Bulls. But the Revs are hoping that they can pick up at least a point in their third straight game, after playing to a 2-2 draw with Houston last weekend, and defeating Vancouver 4-1 the game before.
