FOXBORO -- Because of the fuel spill that has cause massive traffic backups on Rte. 95 for much of the day on Sunday, the New England Revolution -- who host the Chicago Fire Sunday night at 7 p.m. at Gillette Stadium -- have released the following advisory for fans traveling to the match:
"The Massachusetts State Police and Gillette Stadium officials recommend fans coming from the north or south use Route 1 (from Attleboro or Dedham) instead of I-95 this evening because of the accident and road closure at Exit 6. Fans are advised to leave extra time in case of traffic back-ups on other routes."
