Patriots go about usual Monday business

FOXBORO -- So what did the Patriots do a day after winning the AFC Championship?

"It was a typical day," said Matthew Slater. "Just like any other day, after the game. We came in and lifted and had some game-film corrections from yesterday. So, nothing really changed, nothing out of the ordinary routine. Now, we've got to start to prepare for the Giants coming up."

Part of today was also spent focusing on how to handle all the hype during Super Bowl week.

"Knowing that this is a little bit different then the normal routine and procedure," said Slater. "We can't get too caught up in that. That can become overwhelming. We have to realize there's only one reason and one purpose that we have in going down to Indianapolis. And that's to win the game."
