Aaron Hernandez may be linked to fourth murder, new book claims

The book apparently isn't shut on Aaron Hernandez's transgressions.

A new book by investigative journalist Dylan Howard titled "Aaron Hernandez's Killing Fields" suggests the New England Patriots tight end -- who was convicted of one murder and acquitted in a double-murder case -- may be tied to a fourth murder.

The revelation comes from Hernandez's former prison cellmate, Kyle Kennedy, who told Howard in an exclusive interview for the book that Hernandez would brag to Kennedy about his involvement in four murders.

"[Aaron] always used to tell me he had four murders," Kennedy told Howard, via Radaronline. "He would just always, all the time joke around saying 'I got four bodies.' "

In his book, Howard suggests that fourth "body" may have been Jordan Miller, who was shot and killed in Boston's Hyde Park in June 2013 in a still-unsolved murder case.

According to Howard, Miller shared physical similarities to and ran in the same circles as Odin Lloyd, whom Hernandez was convicted of killing in June 2013.

Howard writes that Hernandez assembled a "crew" to go looking for Lloyd a week before his murder -- but that crew found Miller and mistakenly shot him dead in its search for Lloyd.

"It sounds like Hernandez gets a tip from one of his goonies. That Odin Lloyd is at this location," former police detective Bo Dietl told Howard for the book. "[Then] Jordan Miller is shot inside his home, from [a] drive-by shooting through the window.

"It’s very possible that Odin Lloyd could have been in that apartment. ... They shot the wrong guy that time."

Dietl claimed he called for Boston Police to re-examine the shootings of Miller and Lloyd, but Miller's case remains open.

Hernandez committed suicide in his Lancaster, Mass., prison cell in April 2017, five days after he was acquitted of the double murders of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in South Boston.
