Brady, Gisele planning a Halloween costume that will have millennial mouths watering

Judging by what Tom Brady said on Monday morning, his Halloween costume this year will be something that yuppies everywhere can appreciate.

"I think we’re some kind of avocado and toast," Brady admitted in his weekly interview with WEEI's Kirk and Callahan Show.

The "we," of course, means that his wife Gisele Bundchen will be included. The couple have donned themed costumes in the past, and this year's will seem to be a play off of one of Brady's favorite foods.

Brady probably meant to say "avocado toast" not "avocado and toast," but it's hard to blame him for screwing that up. First of all, toast doesn't seem like it has the requisite properties to be a TB12-Method staple any time soon. Makes sense that he wouldn't be all that familiar with toast-related items. Second, avocado toast is something that became en vogue thanks to the generation of late-20 and early-30 millennial hipsters Brady preceded

Credit to the 40-year-old quarterback for keeping up with what's trendy, though. Or maybe that credit should go to his partner in plant-based snacking crime.

"I think my wife picked something out, so I don’t want to give it away," Brady said following Sunday's win over the Chargers. "They’ll find me in my neighborhood. It will be a nice costume. People won’t know who I am, but it will be fun."
