FOXBORO -- The Patriots returned to the practice field Tuesday coming off their bye week, but familiar faces were absent.
Chris Hogan, who suffered a shoulder injury in Week 8 against the Chargers but avoided surgery, was not spotted when the Pats practiced in sweats and shells. Malcom Brown, who missed the game against San Diego with an ankle injury, sat out Tuesday as well.
Marcus Cannon (ankle) and Nate Solder were the other absentees for the Pats Tuesday.
