Tom Brady chugs beers, eats strawberries with Colbert

Apparently Tom Brady is willing to sacrifice some of his strict diet for a little competitive fun.

He was a guest on tonight's Late Show with Stephen Colbert where he promoted his latest book, the TB12 Method.

Believe it or not, he engages in a beer chugging contest. See it for yourself here.

This is not the first time Brady was rumored to be a champion at putting them back.

According to Brian Hoyer in an article published by ESPN analyst Mike Reiss, this special skill has not been a secret to Brady's former teammates.

Brady even took time to teach Colbert some lessons in pliability, breaking out the massage lotion, showing him some of Guerrero's technique.

Another weird fact emerged: Tom Brady had never ate a strawberry before Monday night. Colbert made sure he changed that.

They also got into some of the details of his personal life. The Patriots QB said he would have no problem with his children playing football.

He also added that crying helped him get over the pain of losing the Super Bowl.

Yes, Crying.

Discussion then turned toward the kneeling debate in the NFL. Brady stated, "It brought up a lot of healthy discussion in the locker room. I think the great thing about sports is it brings a lot of guys together", Tom said.

"I have such a healthy respect for the guys I play with, it’s great to hear their stories too"

Report: Patriots special teams ace Slater visiting Steelers

Patriots seven-time Pro Bowl special teamer Matthew Slater is in Pittsburgh on Saturday making a free-agent visit to the rival Steelers, according to an ESPN's Field Yates.

Slater, who turns 33 in September, has spent the past 10 seasons in a New England. The special teams captain and one of the leaders in the locker room signed a one-year, $1.8 million contract extension in 2016.

The Patriots lost special teamer Johnson Bademosi to the Texans in free agency on Friday but signed special teamers Brandon Bolden and Brandon King just before the free agency period began.

Brady tests his 'Brady Bunch' knowledge on NPR

Tom Brady has been making the media rounds lately with "Good Morning America" and "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" appearances this past week to promote his "Tom vs. Time" series and TB12 Method book. On Saturday, Brady was a phone-in guest on NPR's "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me" for their "Not My Job" segment.

Before a mostly cheering live audience in Hartford and after a discussion of the benefits and drawbacks - mostly drawbacks - of tomatoes and strawberries, plus an assessment of the intelligence of most defensive coordinators, Brady settled in to handle three questions about the world's second-most famous Bradys, the family from the classic sitcom - "The Brady Bunch".
