FOXBORO -- Here is a live blog of every pick in the First Round of the 2012 NFL Draft:

8:05 -- The Indianapolis Colts waste no time and do what everybody already knew was coming. They drafted Andrew Luck with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

8:13 -- "To Whom much is given, much is expected." Those were the words of Robert Griffin III, speaking to Deion Sanders on the NFL Network, after the Washington Redskins selected the Baylor quarterback with the No. 2 pick in the draft. It was also an inevitable selection that everybody knew was coming.

8:20 -- As expected, after trading up from the No. 4th pick with the Minnesota Vikings -- the Cleveland Browns selected Alabama running back Trent Richardson with the third pick in the draft.

8:27 -- The Minnesota Vikings dropped one slot in the draft, after trading the third pick to Cleveland, and they took the same player they were projected to take at No. 3, in USC tackle Matt Kalil.

8:32 -- Stud wide receiver Justin Blackmon gives hope to the Jacksonville Jaguars offense, after the Jags selected him with the No. 5 pick. They traded up from No. 7, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

8:37 -- LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne goes sixth overall, to the Dallas Cowboys, who traded up from No. 14 with the St. Louis Rams.

8:45 -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers moved down from No. 5 to No. 7, and took Alabama safety Mark Barron. This marks the longest amount of time in between picks so far, at a staggering eight minutes.
