BURLINGTON, MA, March 5, 2018 - NBC Sports Boston announced today that local sports television & radio on-air personality Michael Holley will expand to a full-time role at the network beginning today, Monday, March 5, 2018.  In his expanded, full-time position at NBC Sports Boston, Holley will play a role in all of the network’s multi-platform programming offerings including: Patriots programming, Celtics programming, nightly studio and news programming, network podcasts, and a variety of additional digital and linear initiatives. Holley will also continue to serve as a host for “Boston Sports Tonight” every weeknight.

Holley, a 25+ year veteran of the sports media business, has been a contributor on NBC Sports Boston for several years and expanded to a larger role in April of 2017 when he joined as a host of the network’s newly launched nightly studio show “Boston Sports Tonight.” The show -- which airs weeknights from 9PM to Midnight and is presented by Town Fair Tire -- is a cross-section of real-time opinion and reaction to the top sports stories of the day, including what is happening in the Boston sports world that evening.

“We are thrilled to have Michael Holley join our network as a full-time member of the NBC Sports Boston on-air talent team,” said Princell Hair, SVP & General Manager of NBC Sports Boston. “Michael’s deep sports knowledge, unfiltered opinion and commentary have been a key contributor to the success of Boston Sports Tonight and we have no doubt that his expanded role with the network will enhance our offering even more. We are committed to providing our viewers and fans with the very best sports content across a variety of platforms. The addition of Michael’s voice certainly helps us to continue delivering on that commitment.”

“I am very excited to expand my role with NBC Sports Boston and continue to engage with passionate Boston sports fans each day,” said Holley. “I’ve had the privilege of working alongside so many intelligent and talented professionals in this business and I look forward to continuing to do so with the NBC Sports Boston family as I embark on this new chapter in my career.”
