Ravens' Ayanbadejo apologizes for Patriots blast on Twitter

It's too soon to tell if Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo is backpedaling harder now than he will be on Sunday, but there's a good chance.

Ayanbadejo made news Sunday night after tweets criticizing the New England Patriots, a team his Ravens will face Sunday. Ayanbadejo tweeted his disdain for the Patriots no-huddle offense, but it didn't end there. He also mentioned Spygate, the team's 18-1 record, and the fact that they cut Tiquan Underwood just before Super Bowl Sunday last year.

On Monday morning, Ayanbadejo returned to twitter with his tail between his legs, most likely after hearing it from coaches and teammates:

I made selfish comments on twitter last night that reflected poorly upon myself, my teammates, and the organization. For that I apologize.
