Red Sox crush White Sox, cruise to 10-3 win

CHICAGO -- For now, the concerns about the Red Sox' pitching staff are on the back burner. That's what happens when you're averaging more than eight runs per game.
The Sox' offense erupted for 12 hits and raced out to a 7-1 lead by the third inning before cruising to a 10-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Philip Humber, who tossed a perfect game in his last start, was battered for a career-high nine runs by the Sox.
The victory was the fourth straight on their current seven-game road trip, during which they've outscored their opponents by a more than 2-to-1 margin, 33-16.
Kevin Youkilis smacked an opposite-field grand slam and Jarrod Saltalamacchia added two homers. The long ball accounted for seven of the nine Red Sox runs.
Felix Doubront struggled at times -- only twice did he retire the side in order -- but got through six innings to give the Sox a second straight quality start. The Sox have won three of his four starts and led 9-1 when he left another before the bullpen allowed 14 runs in relief in a shocking 15-9 loss last weekend.
Junichi Tazawa (two innings) and Franklin Morales (one inning) finished up for the Sox.
Every member of the Boston starting lineup reached base safely except Lars Anderson, who made his first career start in the outfield.
