David Price is feeling under the weather, and when he'll return to the Boston Red Sox rotation and pitch again is not yet known.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora provided an update on the veteran left-hander Wednesday, revealing he'll throw a bullpen session soon.

Price missed his previously scheduled spring training start Sunday because of an illness.

The Red Sox begin the regular season March 28 in Seattle against the Mariners. Chris Sale already has been announced as the Opening Day starter, but Price, if healthy, would be scheduled to pitch in that series before Boston takes off for Arizona.

Price went 16-7 with a 3.58 ERA in 30 starts last season. He also pitched very well in the playoffs and helped lead the Red Sox to a World Series title over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
