Hanley comes through for young disabled fan

Hanley Ramirez promised, and delivered.

His first home run of the season in Miami on Monday night was a key hit in the Red Sox' 7-3 victory over the Marlins - their fourth win in a row. It also made good on what he said he'd do for a young disabled fan in stands before the game.

After his fifth-inning home run, Hanley delivered an autographed jersey to the boy. He posted the video on Instagram:

"Yeah, when you see things like that, that's life," Ramirez told reporters, including MLB.com's Ian Browne, after the game. "It can happen to anybody. Little kids born like that, it's upsetting. But we've got to keep it strong mentally. He can't walk or talk. I told him, 'If I hit a homer, I'll give you my jersey.' So that's God. I hit that homer."

It was part of a big night for Ramirez, who had two hits, a stolen base and nice diving stab of a ground ball at first base in the ninth.
