The Boston Red Sox lost a relief pitcher Monday when Robby Scott reportedly was claimed off of waivers by the Cincinnati Reds.

Scott pitched just 6 2/3 innings in nine appearances for the Red Sox in 2018. The 29-year-old left-hander has spent all three of his Major League seasons with Boston. Scott has a 3-2 record, a 3.91 ERA, a 1.20 WHIP, 44 strikeouts and 20 walks in 48 1/3 career innings.

The Red Sox reportedly have David Robertson and Adam Ottavino "high" on their list of bullpen targets in free agency.
