Report: Moss, 49ers agree to one-year deal

So much for dreams of another Tom Brady - Randy Moss connection -- at least this year.

Moss will suit up for the San Francisco 49ers next season, reportedly agreeing to a one-year deal with the team Monday night.

Moss announced that he was returning to the NFL on his 35th birthday, after retiring for one season -- a season that turned into quite an embarrassing one for Moss. Moss was traded from the Patriots to the Vikings, eventually released, and picked up by the Titans.

He saw little to no success on either team before announcing that he wouldn't be returning to the NFL.

Now, Moss is back and looking to restore his name and prove he can still do it at an NFL level.

But Patriots fans who were just dying to see Moss back in Gillette Stadium will get their wish. Moss and the Niners come to Gillette Stadium sometime during the 2012 season, although the exact date hasn't been announced yet.

ESPN was first to report the agreement between Moss and the 49ers.
