Report: Patriots ask Ochocinco to restructure contract

If Chad Ochocinco is going to be back with the Patriots for the upcoming season, it won't be with the contract he's currently under right now.

The Patriots have reportedly approached Ochocinco about restructuring his deal, a deal that has him being paid 3 million in 2012-13, and 3 million in 2013-14, according to a tweet from Sports Business Journal's Liz Mullen.

The news shouldn't be too shocking, as Ochocinco had a letdown year across the board, finishing with just 15 receptions for 276 yards and one touchdown.

Ochocinco made over 5 million dollars this season with the Patriots, or in other words over 1 million dollars for every three catches.

But seriously, how could they do this to him on National Pancake Day?

He also tweeted that he donated "a thousand" dollars to Shriners Hospital for Children in order to get free pancakes.
