When Mariano Rivera was mapping out his retirement, he probably never envisioned himself lying on the center field warning track in his final Major League appearance. The Yankees closer isn't going to let his career end this way.

Rivera said to reporters that he isn't ready to hang up his cleats quite yet.

"I'm coming back. Write it down in big letters. I'm not going out like this." - Mariano Rivera to reporters today. New York Yankees (@Yankees) May 4, 2012

The Yankees closer injured his ACL while fielding fly balls during batting practice on Thursday.
