Celtics coach Doc Rivers was spotted on the Patriots sideline Monday night for their game against the Houston Texans. Before the game, Rivers and Bill Belichick took some time out to talk.

Rivers commented on the relationship between himself and the Patriots head coach.

"It's good, I mean it's not like we hang out all the time or anything like that. But Bill comes over to some of our stuff, I try to go over to some of their stuff."

Rivers also had some praise for Belichick as he discussed the admiration he has for Belichick's success in the NFL.

"I think football is so far ahead of any sport as far as their scouting and their preparation work, because they have so many playersand they have to."

"I always say football is the great pay attention sport. Every timeout, every play, there's a huddle. And you have to do this. And if one guy gets it wrong it's a penalty. It's such a great execution sport to watch, and there's nobody who does a better job of it than Belichick. So every time I'm around that, I learn stuff."
