"It's probably the most difficult thing to do when you have a veteran team," said Brian Scalabrine.
He says it's hard enough to manage an NBA game, but to then deal with limits on players makes it even tougher.
One thing Rivers always tries to do is think about the long-term implications. So if there's a situation Saturday night that might jeopardize the availability of his veterans down the road, you can bet Rivers will take the more cautious approach.
