Sullinger earning teammates' respect

Kyle Draper profiles Celtics rookie Jared Sullinger, who has been steadily impressing his new teammates through hard work.

"You just got to think about the 18 teams that passed me up on draft night," said Sullinger. "They gave me an opportunity in Boston and I got to learn ego's not important here, we just want to win."

Celtics coach Doc Rivers believes Sullinger plays at a level beyond his years.

"He plays at an NBA pace," said Rivers. "He's seen every coverage that you could ever see. I think that's served him well."

The Celtics knew Sullinger had great basketball skills, but they've been very impressed with what he does off the court.

"He's probably the smartest rookie we've had since I've been here," said Rajon Rondo.

If Sullinger has impressed his teammates this much after one trip to Europe, it will be interesting to see what he's able to do over the course of an entire season.
