BOSTON -- Rajon Rondo set a new career high in both scoring and field goals on Wednesday night when he scored 35 points off 15-for-26 shooting during the Celtics' 98-88 loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Let's take a look back to when he first set the marks, one week shy of three years ago to the date against the Phoenix Suns, in a 128-108 Celtics win.

February 15, 2012: 39:26 minutes, 35 points (15-27 FG, 1-1 3PG, 4-9 FT), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 2 turnovers, 1 foul

February 22, 2009: 37:25 minutes, 32 points (13-18 FG, 1-1 3PG, 5-9 FT), 6 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals, 5 turnovers, 3 fouls

Kevin Garnett did not play in either game. He missed the 2009 game with a right knee injury and was out on Wednesday because of a sore left hip.
