Thomas in net again, Boychuk and Chara reunited

BOSTON -- Tim Thomas will be making his 18th appearance in the last 19 games when the Bruins suit up to take on the Washington Capitals, and it will be a mostly familiar lineup that takes the ice against the Caps. The forward groups will be the same with Daniel Paille sitting as the healthy scratch as the 13th forward and the odd-man out, but Dennis Seidenberg is out of the lineup with an infected cut in his leg.

With that in mind, Claude Julien will go back to the usual Zdeno CharaJohnny Boychuk pairing that weve seen so much this season. Instead, Joe Corvo will play for the first time since the Bruins were drop-kicked by the Florida Panthers by a 6-2 score at BankAtlantic Center two weeks ago.

Here is the projected lineup for the Bruins:

Lucic-Krejci-Seguin
Marchand-Bergeron-Peverley
Rolston-Kelly-Pouliot
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Boychuk
Ference-McQuaid
Zanon-Corvo

Thomas
Turco
