Turco to get first start with Bruins

TAMPA -- It looks like the efforts to rest Tim Thomas have begun.

Bruins goaltender Marty Turco will start his first game as a member of the Black and Gold after exiting the Tampa Times Tribune ice first at Bruins' morning skate on Tuesday morning.

Both Claude Julien and Turco confirmed that he'll get the nod against Tampa Bay following practice.

Turco made 20 saves after entering Sunday afternoon's loss to the Penguins at the start of the second period, and looked ready to get some action between the pipes for Boston. Thomas had played in nine straight games when he got the start against the Penguins last weekend, and he has seen his stats steadily decline as he fatigued.

Julien also confirmed that Daniel Paille will be back in the lineup for the Bruins, and both Patrice Bergeron (knee) and Adam McQuaid (upper body) took part in morning skate after being unable to finish Sunday's game with injuries.

Here are the projected lines from morning skate:

Lucic-Krejci-Seguin
Marchand-Bergeron-Caron
Rolston-Kelly-Paille
MacDermid-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Boychuk
Seidenberg-Corvo
Zanon-Ference
