Welker puts condo for sale, planning ahead for departure?

The Patriots couldn't work out a longterm deal over the offseason with Wes Welker, and instead slapped the franchise tag on him.

But Welker and his realtor came up with a price on his condo -- now for sale -- pretty quickly.

The Boston Herald reports that the soon-to-be free agent wide receiver has put his Back Bay condo up for sale for around 2.5 million.

Even more, they "hear" he's not looking for any other houses in the area, instead choosing to rent.

So, is Welker already preparing for a potential breakup at the end of the season? Or is he just testing the market?
