Will Pats turn back to Page?

Share

Jarrad Page, a safety for the Patriots last season who signed with Philly prior to this year, is available to any suitor. Released by the Eagles on Tuesday after making 37 tackles in six games, the 27-year-old cleared waivers. Page was a quality locker room guy who had two picks for the Patriots last year after being acquired from the Chiefs via trade. He had12 tackles and played special teams for the Pats. He was with the Chiefs for three seasons before being dealt to New England last September. The Patriots are currently running with a banged-up Patrick Chung and James Ihedigbo at safety. When Chung was hurt last week, Sterling Moore came in and played capably. Sergio Brown was not impressive when his number came up. Ross Ventrone, the on-again, off-again Patriot was re-signed to the team's practice squad this week. A message for Page hasn't been immediately returned.
