Bears getting props from award voters

If the Bears want to claim that they dont get enough respect around the NFL, itll be a tough sell this season.
For the first time since 2008 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, two players from the same team were accorded player of the week honors.
Sherrick McManis was named special-teams player of the week for his block of a Tennessee Titans punt that was run in for a touchdown in last Sundays 51-20 rout in Nashville.
Linebacker Brian Urlacher took the award for defensive player of the week after his 46-yard interception return for a touchdown, punctuated by his hurdle of Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck attempt to make a tackle. For Urlacher this was the sixth DPOW award, tying him with Richard Dent from franchise high.
So far this year the Bears have taken the defensive player of the month awards for the months of September (Tim Jennings) and October (Charles Tillman).
