Bears need Jeffery to improve on terrible 2s at WR

Share

Jerry Angelo always maintained that the bust factor with wide receivers made them poor risks as first-round picks. David Terrell was Mark Hatleys last pick before Angelo replaced him, leaving Angelo with an object lesson and a bust at the eighth-overal pick of 2001.

The Bears second round has not always been any better for Chicago, for that matter, something the organization hopes Alshon Jeffery can change, and fast.
