Bears sign first-round pick McClellin to deal

The Bears have signed defensive end Shea McClellin to a four-year contract with a fifth-year option. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

McClellin was drafted 19th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Boise State University. He started 37 of 49 games for the Broncos from 2008-11 and recorded 130 tackles, 20.5 sacks and four interceptions.

McClellin becomes the fifth draft pick that the Bears have signed, joining WR Alshon Jeffery (2nd round, 45th overall), TE Evan Rodriguez (4th round, 111th overall), CB Isaiah Frey (6th round, 184th overall) and CB Greg McCoy (7th round, 220th overall).

In other Bears news, the team has signed veteran free agents DT John McCargo, DT DeMario Pressley and DE Cheta Ozougwu.
