See the moment Roquan Smith found out he was drafted by the Bears

One of the best parts about the NFL Draft is seeing the raw reactions of players when their name is called, whether it's at the draft or via satellite from home.

Roquan Smith was at AT&T Stadium for it, but received a phone call from the Bears moments before they took him at No. 8 to officially welcome him to Chicago:

"Hey, guess what? We're picking your gloves this time buddy," coach Matt Nagy said.

"Yes sir, I love it!" Smith responded.

For those that don't know the backstory, Smith originally committed to UCLA by famously putting on blue and gold Bruins gloves on National Signing Day. He ended up backing out of that decision to sign with Georgia after the team's linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich, who recruited Smith to UCLA, left to take the same job with the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL.

Well aware of this, Nagy used it as an opportunity to break the ice with Smith. And it was perfect.
