Wisconsin dominated the majority of the first half during Saturday night's game in College Park, but right before halftime, Diamond Stone grabbed headlines.

The freshman center — and Wisconsin native — fought Badger big man Vitto Brown for a rebound in the half's final minute before tackling him to the ground and then pushing his head onto the floor.

More shocking, however, was that Stone was not ejected from the game. He earned a contact technical foul, one of a pair of technical fouls handed out on the play. The other went to Wisconsin's Charlie Thomas, who rushed to Brown's defense and got angry at Stone, requiring restraint from his teammates.

The action by Stone and the ensuing lack of an ejection caused uproar on Twitter.

It can be seen as a frustrated reaction by a Maryland player, as the Terps went from ahead by seven to trailing by as many as 16. Maryland went almost 11 minutes without a made basket during an extraordinarily lengthy dry spell.
