Scout rips Eli Apple's cooking skills for some reason, Ezekiel Elliott defends fellow Buckeye

The NFL Draft brings out plenty of dissections of potential draftees. That's nothing new.

But one NFL scout thinks that a player's culinary abilities should come into play when a team considers drafting them.

An anonymous scout told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Ohio State defensive back Eli Apple "can't cook," somehow presenting it as a reason why he's not first-round material.

"I worry about him because of off-the-field issues. The kid has no life skills. At all. Can't cook. Just a baby. He's not first round for me. He scares me to death."

That's weird.

Well, others thought Apple's cooking skills needed defending and rushed to Twitter to do just that.

So whoever that scout is obviously didn't have any of Apple's reportedly delicious fried chicken and mac and cheese.
