Blackhawks' Marian Hossa lists Gold Coast condo for roughly $4.5 million

Marian Hossa has listed his Gold Coast condominium on the market for just under $4.5 million, the Chicago Tribune reported on Tuesday.

The three-time Stanley Cup winner with the Blackhawks purchased the three-bedroom, 3,940-square-foot unit in May 2010 in a high-rise building in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood.

Hossa, 39, was sidelined for the entire 2017-18 season due to a progressive skin disorder and the side effects of the medications involved to treat it. He has three years left on his contract that carries a $5.275 million cap hit.

"What I do know is that his status is unchanged," Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman said at the end of the season. "His physical condition hasn't improved, so at this point there's no indication he's going to play next year, either. That's about all I know at this point. We'll probably have more discussions on that in the coming weeks, but his medical condition is unchanged."

It's unclear whether Hossa plans on relocating somewhere else in the Chicago area and what his playing status is going forward.
