The Bulls announced the signing of guard Marco Belinelli Tuesday afternoon, a few days after the move was initially reported. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but reports have the deal being a bi-annual exception of just under 2 million.
With New Orleans last season, Belinelli averaged 11.8 points, 1.6 three-pointers and 29.8 minutes per game. The former first-round pick of Golden State in 2007 has spent two years with the Warriors, one with the Raptors and two with the Hornets.
Belinelli is expected to fill the role vacated by Kyle Korver, who was dealt to Atlanta earlier this month.
