Alshon Jeffery will finally be practicing alongside his teammates.

The Bears' top wide receiver has reported to mandatory minicamp, according to a tweet the team sent out Monday morning.

Jeffery has stirred up plenty of conversation this offseason by not showing up to optional OTAs while his contract situation with the Bears remains unresolved.

Despite no news on the contract front, Jeffery will once again be practicing with the team.

The Bears slapped the franchise tag on the wideout earlier this offseason and have expressed continued interest in signing him to a lengthier contract.

In four seasons with the Bears since the team drafted him out of South Carolina, Jeffery has caught 252 passes for 3,728 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Last season, Jeffery was bothered by injuries and played in just nine games, starting only eight. But he played in all 32 regular-season games during the 2013 and 2014 seasons, going over 1,300 receiving yards in each and catching a total of 17 touchdown passes. He made the Pro Bowl in 2013.
