Apparently Adam Gase does not have a second interview with Eagles planned

A report came out Wednesday that Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase had impressed the Philadelphia Eagles so much, a second interview was scheduled for this weekend.

Apparently, that's not the case, according to CSNPhilly's Reuben Frank.

The Eagles Insider said he has heard from a source there is no scheduled second interview with any candidate.

That doesn't mean Gase didn't blow the Eagles away in an interview, it just means, according to Frank's source, that the organization wants to vet out all the head coaching prospects before deciding on a list for second interviews.

Gase had a busy week scheduled, featuring planned interviews with the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins and New York Giants.

The Bears offensive coordinator is seen as one of the top head coaching candidates on the market after the work he did with Jay Cutler and the offense in 2015, his first season in Chicago.
