Bears' Lance Briggs addresses party rumors

Lance Briggs made headlines before the season began for happenings off the field rather than on it.

The veteran linebacker took a day off practice to open his new restaurant in California and a report surfaced that Briggs had been out late partying Friday and very early Saturday morning before the Bears' Week 1 loss to the Bills.

But on the season debut of the Lance Briggs Show Tuesday on Comcast SportsNet, Briggs came out firing against his critics, noting that what he does in his personal time is his business, and only his.

"My answer to that's going to be that what I do on my off time is my business, it's my business," he said, "and unless you want to get TMZ to follow me around or you're going to speculate on everything I do or what restaurant I ate at and which people were at the dinner table with me, if you're going to report on that then you can continue to speculate. But for me, my business is my personal life."

See what else Briggs had to say in the video above and tune in to the Lance Briggs Show every week on CSN.
