Bears re-sign CB Tracy Porter to three-year deal

Tracy Porter is being rewarded for his resurgence with the Bears last season, and he's staying with the team that helped him do it.

The man who earned the nickname "Fourth Quarter Porter" confirmed via Twitter on Wednesday that he's re-signing with the Bears, who announced it's a three-year contract. According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $16.5 million.

In 14 games last year, the 29-year-old Porter registered 35 tackles, one forced fumble, one interception and tied a career-high with 12 pass deflections.

He previously spent the first four years of his NFL career in New Orleans, then had one-year stints in Denver, Oakland and Washington.
