After years of having no teams in Los Angeles, the National Football League is apparently set to have two in LA starting in 2017.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Chargers plan to announce a move to LA as early as Thursday. Last year it was the Rams moving from St. Louis to LA.

The Chargers have played the past 55 seasons in San Diego are opening in LA in 1960.

Schefter's reporting includes a mention that this is not yet final although Chargers chairman Dean Spanos seems set on the move due to a lack of a stadium deal in San Diego.

After not having any teams in LA from 1995-2015, the City of Angels would now join New York as the only two-team market in the league.
