As part of a joint collaboration between CSNChicago.com and SBNation.com's Windy City Gridiron, Scott Krinch and Lester Wiltfong break down the latest happenings on the Bears. Check back all season long for more video hits and features.

In their inaugural collaboration, Krinch and Wiltfong take a look at how the Bears' 53-man roster stacks up going into Sunday's season opener against the Houston Texans.

The Bears made a major addition to their offensive line with the signing of three-time Pro Bowler Josh Sitton after he was surprisingly cut by the Green Bay Packers over the weekend. Wiltfong analyzes how Sitton fits the Bears' blocking scheme and what it means for the development of rookie offensive lineman Cody Whitehair.

In what he called a "performance-based" decision, the Bears released longtime kicker and fan favorite Robbie Gould on Sunday. Wiltfong explains why he thinks the Bears made the move.
