FanDuel Friday: Big plays and big bargains for Week 2

Week 2 didn't take long to get wild and crazy.

Right, Travis?

*SOUND THE JORTS SIRENS*

(Oh and the game itself was pretty nuts as well).

We now know who came into 2015 ready to roll (looking at you, Keenan Allen) and who still may need some time to get going (cough, Adrian Peterson, cough).

We've also done some re-evaluating on some players who we thought might've been a sleeper or guys we thought just weren't going to have it this year.

Check out our FanDuel lineups for Week 2's games and as always, good luck this week.

John "The Professor" Paschall

My lineup is built around half-man/half-superhero Julio Jones who had an insane Week 1 and should be on track to come near it against a shaky Giants secondary.

I go high at quarterback again because last week I got burned trying to go cheap with Eli Manning and it blew up in my face. Brees and the Saints are desperate after losing their first game and should put on a show against a bad Bucs defense. Ingram impressed last week by leading the Saints in catches. While it may not happen again this week, it's a promising sign for his value.

Ivory is way too cheap for me to pass up. The Colts hate getting physical and that's exactly what Ivory brings. He showed in Week 1 that he's the guy in the Jets backfield and that shouldn't change anytime soon.

Smith is my Start of the Week in Fantasy because of his great matchup against a banged up Raiders secondary. Brown's speed should make him the difference maker in the Cardinals-Bears showdown.

Reed clearly has a connection with Cousins and received heavy targets after DeSean Jackson went down with an injury. Expect that to continue in what could be a big blowout for the Rams (hence why I like their defense this week).

Tony Andracki

Carson Palmer retains his title as my FanDuel quarterback. I had him in both FD lineups last week and it worked out fabulously, so I figured I'd get some value with him again, this time going up against the Bears' porous defense. I also opted for his favorite target - John Brown - who comes at a solid bargain of only $6,200 for what could be WR2 numbers this week.

I'm counting on a bounce-back game from Adrian Peterson and the Vikings playcallers as they return home for an inter-division game against the Lions. I'm always a big fan of Lamar Miller and he should have a nice bounce-back game this week, as well, drawing a nice matchup with the Jags.

Brian Quick is flying under the radar, but he's the No. 1 WR in St. Louis and they're going up against a Redskins defense that is among the worst in the game at defending the pass. Thanks to savings in other areas, I had enough of Julio Jones, whom I'm expecting to have a monster game every week this season so long as he's healthy. This system in Atlanta is just perfect for him.

With Dez Bryant out, Jason Witten again should get a hefty amount of targets. Robbie Gould is always solid and I actually think the Browns have a pretty solid defense and get a nice matchup with a rookie quarterback on the road. No, Marcus Mariota won't throw four TD passes in one half again. I don't want to go so far as to say Mariota's Week 1 was a fluke, but it certainly can't be taken as his normal production game in and game out.
