Former Bears corner Charles Tillman announces retirement with ‘Peanut Punch' video

Charles Tillman announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, bringing an end to a 13-year pro career.

Tillman posted this video, which features him "Peanut punching" his way out of the league for the last time, as well as plenty of his former Bears teammates.

Tillman spent 12 of his 13 NFL seasons with the Bears, playing on a trio of division-champion teams, including the squad that reached Super Bowl XLI.

Tillman was a mainstay in the Bears' secondary for more than a decade, playing in 156 games and starting all but four of those. In 13 NFL seasons, he recorded 911 total tackles, picked off 38 passes, forced 44 fumbles and scored nine defensive touchdowns. Tillman made two Pro Bowls, was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2012 and was named the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2013.
