Polian adamantly denies reports of Manning's poor arm strength

Former Colts vice chairman and six-time executive of the year Bill Polian said without hesitation Thursday on SiriusXM Blitz that a report of Payton Mannings arm strength is not accurate.

Polian refuted comments made Wednesday by Indianapolis Star reporter Bob Kravitz on Tony Kornheisers radio show, calling them simply untrue. He went further, saying that he saw Manning throw on New Years Eve and Manning showed, "quick release, good zip, but it was capped at about 25 yards.

"I mean, the guy's arm is a noodle, he can't throw like an NFL quarterback, and by March 8, there's no way of knowing whether he's going to be ready or not," said Kravitz during the Kornheiser radio interview.

Polian said Manning is showing progress and that his range of motion between his right arm and his left arm are almost the same at this point."

Is Peyton done? Will he return? The March 8 deadline seems a lot longer than a month away and the ending to this cliffhanger isn't as clear as once thought.
