BOCA RATON, Fla. — The NFL owners meetings are where decisions on everything from rules changes to franchise movements can be decided. They are also chances to visit with key figures in moves involving Bears — and former Bears — as will be the case over Tuesday and Wednesday.

AFC coaches will be available for conversations over breakfast Tuesday morning, meaning a chance to sit down and chat with Bill Belichick on why the New England Patriots coach wanted to trade for Bears tight end Martellus Bennett and sign Bears linebacker Shea McClellin. Also on the docket will be New York Jets coach Todd Bowles, whose team invested in Bears running back Matt Forte this offseason after the Bears informed Forte that he was no longer in their plans.

On Wednesday morning will be sitdowns with Bears coach John Fox and chances to gauge some plans upcoming through the rest of the offseason, including the draft.
