Report: Bears land a CB with signing of Prince Amukamara

After striking out in the cornerback market on the first day of free agency, the Bears finally landed some help on Friday morning.

According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Bears have agreed to a deal with cornerback Prince Amukamara.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports that Amukamara's deal with the Bears is for one year.

Amukamara, 27, appeared in 14 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars after signing a one-year deal with the club last offseason. He registered 46 tackles, no interceptions and 6 passes defended.

Amukamara, a former first round pick by the New York Giants out of Nebraska in 2011, has appeared in 69 games across 6 seasons and has accumulated 271 tackles, 7 interceptions and 51 passes defended.
