Bears GM Phil Emery has been discussing what he and the rest of the organization are looking for in their next head coach since firing Lovie Smith.

As the hunt in Chicago continues, six additional teams also continue the same search, and Smith's name is now reported to be in the mix outside of the Windy City.

According to Rotoworld Football, the Buffalo Bills plan to interview Smith, whose Cover-two defense would work well with the Bills, who ranked 26th in points allowed last year.

Former Bills head coach Chan Gailey posted a 6-10 record last season and a career 16-32 record in Buffalo since he took over the position in 2010.
