Less than a week after being released by the Bears, Matt Slauson has found a new home.

The former Bears offensive lineman has reportedly agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the San Diego Chargers, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Slauson started all 16 games last season with the Bears, with 12 coming at left guard and the other four at center.

Across three seasons with the Bears, he started in 37 career games and previously spent four years with the New York Jets, who drafted him in the sixth round (No. 193 overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Slauson is expected to line up at center with his new team.
