36th National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont

The 36th National Sports Collectors Convention will take place July 29-August 2 at the Donald E Stephen Convention Center in Rosemont.

A complete schedule of the event, including general admission tickets, autograph tickets and VIP Packages are also available online.

Chicago Blackhawks hockey legends Ed Belfour, Chris Chelios, Tony Esposito, Pierre Pilote and Bobby Hull will all be in Rosemont. Plus, the "Miracle on Ice" 1980 U.S. Hockey team will be signing on Thursday.

Bears legend Brian Urlacher will be in attendance along with current Pro Football Hall of Famers Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, Ray Guy, Curley Culp, Demontti Dawson, Dan Dierdorf, Paul Hornung, Jim Kelly, Steve Largent, Marv Levy, John Randle, Willie Roaf, Thurman Thomas and Aeneas Williams. Legendary Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz will also make an appearance.

Pro Basketball Hall of Famers John Havlicek, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Isiah Thomas and Dominique Wilkens.

The list of Baseball Hall of Famers include Frank Thomas, Greg Maddux, Rickey Henderson, Bob Gibson, Whitey Herzog, Cal Ripken Jr., Fergie Jenkins, Barry Larkin, Joe Morgan, Eddie Murray, Frank Robinson and Joe Torre.

Other star athletes scheduled to include Mike Tyson, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Roger Clemons, Andre Dawson, Joakim Noah, Pete Rose, Mike Piazza, Jimmy Connors and Allen Iverson.

Bears fans will be pleased to hear Triumph Books will make a number of copies of the new book Doug Buffone Monster of the Midway available for purchase with co-author Chet Coppock at the booth to sign at the convention.
