For the fourth time in seven years, the city of Chicago will be hosting a championship parade.

The Blackhawks snapped a 49-year drought by winning the Stanley Cup in 2010, then following that up with two more in 2013 and 2015.

The Cubs did the same on Thursday, capturing their first World Series title in 108 years and are hoping this could be one of many more in years to come.

Blackhawks chairman Rocky Wirtz released this statement congratulating the Cubs on their championship:

On behalf of our family and organization, congratulations to the Ricketts family and the Chicago Cubs for an incredible season and for winning the World Series. The unwavering loyalty of Chicago sports fans has been rewarded once again with yet another team being crowned world champions. Well done.
